Our Story: Veterans of the Gulf War Alliance

The Veterans of the Gulf Alliance was born out of a deep commitment to serving Gulf War veterans, many of whom continue to face debilitating health challenges long after their service. Gulf War Illness has left a significant portion of this community battling chronic pain, neurological conditions, fatigue, and mental health struggles, often without access to the treatments they need.

Founded by a Gulf War veteran who suffers from Gulf War Illness himself, our organization was created with a singular mission: to ensure that veterans receive the recognition, care, and support they deserve. Having personally experienced the frustration of misdiagnoses and improper claims adjudication, our founder understands the struggles veterans face. Many claims' adjudicators and doctors alike fail to grasp the complexity of Gulf War Illness, leaving veterans without the proper care and benefits. Through our advocacy and services, we aim to bridge that gap and bring real solutions to GWI veterans in need.
